What horrendous Tripe! I think you need to drop 50 IQ points to be inspired by that! Seriously is that meant to inspire 4 year olds in the ministry. It's well done to be fair ,but talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel to inspire the preaching work. Instead of spending all that money and time to produce this, the leaders in Crooklynn, might do a much better job getting off there fat asses, and start preaching themselves in harder areas. Pathetic! Next thing you you know they'll have their own JW sesame street or muppets to indoctrinate the young.

Something creepy just happened here.........................
by Warlock inas some of you know, my office is a converted garage.
the day has been fairly still here, and all of a sudden the front door started shaking like someone was trying to open it, as if it was locked.
when i heard it start to shake i looked up and the door was moving as if someone was trying to get in.

Maybe I should bring some kingdom songs, play them and see what happens.

I don't recommend torture for the entities. You may find yourself floating away in your bed one morning!

what did you "sacrifice" when you came in the Truth?
by skyclad ini'm a newbie, bin lurking for days and bin doing so much research from your informative threads that my family think i'm possibly "comin back in the truth" =not!
this is my 1st post so forgive if already done before, but just wondered what you had to "sacrifice to come in the truth?
in my case, i was baptised in early 80's, my study conductor and all the dubs heavily drilled into us young-uns to sacrifice whatever it takes to please the org.

Being born into it, lets talk about the life I never had and still don't have. I missed every conceivable bit of harmless joy, or fun, that could ever have been had in the 20 th century. Never went to university or college, and spent 20 years after I got my ass booted out with my tail between my legs because of low self esteem guilt, fear abandonment, and condemnation. They sucked away my vitality and life force and I am still effected to this day by my unwavering family. I figure they owe me a 100 million for a life sentence, lost opportunities, and mental damage.

That would be great! Then we could drink the wine at the memorial. Gotta make sure I take a huge gulp, cuz now there isn't a fat ass like Rutherford, drinking it all to himself!

Warlock , It's just a theory, cuz I don't know about the timing of this event, in relation to your post on the death thread of blueblades. It seems to me like an entity is watching you and giving confirmation of the afterlife. If this is so, it would appear although startling, to be freindly in nature and wants you to know it's there....again. I think it would be cool to find out what it wants.

Death, is death our only destiny?
by Blueblades insoon after we arrive on this earth, we become aware of the most fundamental fact of our existence, that we won't be here very long.
an average life span lasts less than 30,000 days.
we sleep a third of that time, so the days we experience number less than 20,000. we may try, but we can't ever completely deny our mortality.

Kid A, you can express your ideas without being provocative. This is a topic, no one knows the answers to, including yourself. Everything written here is just throwing ideas around for the hell of it. How do you know, that right now, you arn't dead, and when you shed that body of yours is when you truly become alive. Do you remember what it was like before you were born? No you don't. You define life in the context of your surroundings, which leaves very little room for the enjoyment of philisophical conversation.
Have you not considered paranormal phenomenon and dimensions existing within our dimension. What makes you think this is it? Until science further defines our existence and actually weighs the soul quantitively you have jumped to very early and easy conclusions. Do you actually think that just because you can't see something it can't be studied? You want proof but the science has not been completed yet. Just little over a century ago you couldn't convince anyone of the existence of germs and the link to cleanliness and health. Now it's a worldwide fact. Such attitudes close the doors to a further understanding of the world, or dimension we inhabit.

Not that it's my way cuz it isn't, and never was, but I learned that image is everything, and you get a lot further with deceipt in the org. than telling the truth. I also learned not to take people or what they say at face value and that they wern't really my freinds even though I grew up that way.
As far as learning anything valuable from the mags, talks or elders.ZERO!! I learned that these little men have a hunger for power and will stop at nothing to get it.
I also learned that my poor family are just as lost, although they don't think that they are. So anyone can be controlled and lie to themselves.
I learned too that fading, rather than dealing with brainwashed people is a far better method of self preservation. I'd do it differently if I could start over but peer pressure from your own family can be the worst of things so it pays to truly know who you are, what you want, and what you beleive in.
If you do not know these three things, there is a power vacuum, and people will tell you, who you are, what you want, and what you beleive in.

My mom took my son to KH after I told her not to
by unbeliever inreal shock i know that a jw would do that.
i found out today that my mom took my son to the kh behind my back when she was in town visiting.
he's just a little baby so he will have no memories of it.

That makes me angry just hearing that, cuz i know my mom would do the exact same thing. It makes me extremely hateful to know this when they can visibly see the damage it has caused in my life and shows zero respect for my wishes. They somehow actually made me attend a meeting on Sunday to see my dads talk. I posted a thread about it entitles should I go or should I stay. I absolutly can't beleive they had the audacity to ask that of me. I know that if I ever had a kid there's no way I'd ever let them see it.
Yes they will be conniving and tricky and sneaky. It's so pathetic and counter productive and stupid. I hate that cult. You can expect that no matter what you do or say, they will never change. I don't blame you one bit if you take that kid away from its grand parents forever . I also don't blame you if you ended your relationship with this guy.
The last thing people like us need is an enabler who doesn't get it. It's infuriating, and this crap carries itself into the next generation that way. It's like they don't realize they're sick and have a need to brainwash everyone around them into their stupid week minded ways. They need to be taught a lesson in respecting other peoples rights and veiws. They're so stupid, they tear their own families apart, and either don't care, or think they're doing something good.
It seems like the only language these fools understand is the harshest kind. This cult is so subtle ,yet powerful in the way it continues to effect lives, and present itself as virtuous to the world.I really wonder sometimes if they understand how hated they are. It's so funny that we have to go to great lengths to explain it to everyone as well. This cult has to be from the devil. That's why I sometimes always think I will end up with a person who is either well educated about this or someone who shares my antiwitness veiws like a fellow victim. Take care and don't conceed, or bend on anything. I know, they sure won't!
